A Little Porcelain Ginny Doll from the 1980's  brought back a lot of childhood memories for me and not in the 1980's. I bought this darling Christmas Porcelain Ginny doll from I believe the J C Penney Catalog, and every year at Christmas I would bring her out for a Holiday display, well some years ago when I brought her out I realized how much I loved her, I didn't even think about the 1950's Ginny's until I was searching the Internet for another Beautiful Porcelain Ginny Doll and then "wham" all those Beautiful 1950's Ginny dolls started screaming take me home and fix me up. Well that's where this all started I started buying fix me up Ginny dolls on Ebay and anywhere else I could find them....I would fix them up, clean them up, make them clothes and hats....yes hats....Special Minihats . And then I would sell them so I could buy more. "All for the love of Ginny". I worked hard trying to find everything I could to make all Ginny's special again, things that weren't so easy to find like beautiful mohair and synthetic wigs, darling shoes and hats. I even had a DollsAmore Spa for my Ginny doll customers who had Ginny Dolls that needed a makeover and boy did we have fun together, picking out new wigs and fabrics. The best part was always when Ginny went home to surprise her Mom with how Beautiful she was and the joy that began all over again...Ginny will always have a Special place in my Heart .....  after all,  I wouldn't be having this much fun if it wasn't for her.
